Stanley Black and Decker Case Study
Stanley Black and Decker is the world’s largest tool manufacturer, with over 150 manufacturing centres worldwide.
There are around 1100 employees in the UK, working both remotely and onsite, across 4 manufacturing facilities.
Better with Money trainers have been providing financial education to Stanley Black and Decker’s UK staff for almost 2 years.

What did Better with Money do?
Better with Money was tasked with putting together a financial education programme that would garner engagement from a wide range of employees across multiple manufacturing sites.
The programme includes:
- Quarterly Online Webinars aimed at corporate staff with computer access.
- Annual on-site presentations for those working on-site.
- 1-2-1 Financial Guidance Sessions delivered over the phone.
- Benefits roadshow delivered on-site.
The Outcome
A comprehensive and engaging financial education programme appealing to a wide variety of employees spread across different sites.
What sets Better with Money apart from other providers is that they really like to try and generate conversation around financial education…encouraging employees to speak up and ask questions. We get really good engagement from our staff and really good feedback so we know that employees are valuing these sessions.
